When I moved up to my new town I saw two donks. . . I've never lived in a place where people have donks and just cruise around trying to look cool. . . It gives me a good chuckle because they are seriously trying to look cool and avoid being pulled over while they drive through downtown over and over for no reason other than showing off the 30'' rims and blasting horrible music.

When I lived in Florida, I shit you not, custom full car airbrush cars of spongebob, lucky charms, LEGO, Trix, were common. Like $10,000+ for cars of cereal and kids toys. Mind. Blown.

Correct platform, find a nice Continental or malaise era Caddy, and put a big supercharged block in there.

Build the suspension properly. Gut the wheel wells so you can have some wheel travel, and give it a ride that won't rattle your fillings.

Then cruise like a mofo, and bathe in the hate.

Exactly. Big block pushing massive HP to turn the wheels. Also massive Brembos to stop said wheels. Tub everything so it actually rolls and turns. A couple thousand watts of stereo in the trunk. A crazy ass paint job. Slip yoke eliminators and tranny kits and custom driveshafts to make everything kosher. Then just cruise

Would be interesting if you could find a slightly smaller rim and paint an inch of matching colour onto the tyre. That way you get a smoother ride but keep the look.

Plus it means more rubber for burnouts

i think that's an illusion. it looks like the wheel is over lapping the fender, but i think the fender has actually been cut for clearance which is common.

when i was driving through Chicago a few years ago I saw a Olds Aurora lifted on 24"s. It was beat up, and the fenders were chopped for clearance. it was funny though. I couldn't believe she girl driving it trusted it on the freeway though. I sure as hell didn't trust it.

I saw a donked boxster in dallas a few days ago, couldn't get a good pic. A few weeks before that I saw a mossy oak'd miata in sacremento too. Its been a good few weeks for unique car spottings
